She is not her scars
She is not who has touched
Who has hit
Who has maimed her.
She is not her cuts
Her bruises
Her defense mechanisms.
She is not her un-trust of the world
She is not her broken heart.
She is not the pain she has felt
She is not defiled
Unworthy
Dirty
She is not her scars
They are only the mountains
And valleys
And rivers
Of the ever growing
Ever changing
Ever repairing
Forest
That is herself.
Burn the forest down
And it will come back twice as strong and healthy.
Even if it takes a bit of growth to do so.
