A message to springtime

please bring back the sun
to which I always run

please water the flowers
after the seasons darkest hour

please bring back life
from that cold night

please give me hope
for the Summer that you host

please give me a plan
to thoroughly span

over the land
to bring back the sand

and the sun and the fun
of Summer as it comes

but most of all please bring back the warmth
and take away the winters’ storm.
