Wine and Sunshine

I take in a little sunshine

And drink a little wine

Hang out on my back porch

Just passing the time

I count the cars that are driving by

Wondering what they do in their busy lives

Pick up my guitar

And pluck a few notes

Even though I never learned

Since my confidence broke

Watch the crows that alight the fence

And wonder if this world really does make sense

 

So I take in a little sunshine

And drink a little wine

Stay a little buzzed

And sing a little rhyme

Just passing the time

Is a bit of a crime

So I make sure I work hard

When I have a goal in mind

 

Yeah I work hard when I have a goal in mind.

And right now my goal is just to be happy.
