I can feel the fire’s light

Singing the hair upon my skin

I can feel the fire’s fight

Trying to destroy the demons within

I can feel the fire’s light

Dancing across my heart

I can feel the fire’s fight

Against the impending dark.

 

So I dance with my eyes closed

Just feeling my way around the pit

Will I fall in? No body knows

Its all in the risk

 

I’m flirting with the edge of insanity

As I stare into the coals

I’m flirting with the edge of darkness

As I wait for the story to unfold.

 

I can feel the fire’s light

It’s revealing many secrets to me

Secrets of how to live with the demons

Who fight the fire in me.
