Hello my name is Human
I’m not perfect and I’m not sane

I’ve never been known by any other name

I’m a wretched wicked mess

I was put on this Earth to go through a test
A test of strength and a test of will
A way to rise above the swill
A way to claw my dignity back
The dignity taken before I could attach
Myself to a meaning in this universe so dark
So dark except for the faintest of sparks
Those faintest of sparks giving light
You call them stars I call it night

is Human the name of rise and the name of fall
