Being a Woman is equal to being psychotic.
It’s just a fact. There have been studies that show that those who transition feel less crazy when there is less estrogen in their system and more testosterone.
But what a superpower.
What a superpower to make women able to stand up to what they need to. Able to better express themselves (whether they want to or not). Able to better be in tune with the world around them (also whether they want to or not.)
Being a Woman is trying to find yourself.
Every day. All day. Year after year. Until we die.
We’re never the same person twice. We’re constantly evolving, growing, changing. Like poison ivy on steroids. Like a grand oak tree with a quickening spell.
We learn, we adapt, we harden and soften to the environment around us…sometimes we get stuck in one mode but it’s alright.
Being a Woman is being a Goddess
We are beautiful, intelligent, hardened, wonderfully intuitive creatures who are able to hold another down like it’s nobody’s business.
We give life. We continue life. We encourage life. We spur life on either with honey or with a whip but honey betcha ass we’re gonna get shit done one way or another. We’re going to look out for those we love. We’re going to look after our tribe, our pack, our family, our kin.
We’re going to give life and take ourselves away from what is no longer allowing us to grow.
Thank goodness there’s so many kinds of us, or pieces of this world would crumble.
Being a Woman is being a shapeshifter
A mind reader. A talented mime. A make-up artist but we’re truly making up for that which we don’t understand. Being a woman is giving all of ourselves while giving none of ourselves at the same time so that we may continue pouring from our cup of wisdom.
we may mess up sometimes
sure. but everyone does. we learn. we adapt. we overcome.
Being a Woman is hard. An no one else could do it but another woman
Shout out to my fellow women (born as or transitioned to) we rock our worlds ladies, let’s hold hands and rock each others!
