Good morning!
seeing as how there is only six days left of NaPoWriMo and I have not been posting the poems on here save for two, I thought I’d give an update on how that is going.
Here are some things I’ve learned over the last twenty-four days:
1) it is very difficult to keep up with writing a poem everyday. I didn’t think it would be…I was very wrong.
2) apparently, I either write two-five poems at once or none at all.
3) it is extremely rewarding completing writing challenges with other people. I have enjoyed being tagged in other people’s posts most every day for the month.
What’s the plan for the remaining days?
I am on poem sixteen (…seventeen?) of the twenty-four I am supposed to be at. My plan is to continue writing until I hit thirty poems and I will attribute all of them to NaPoWriMo.
Whenever I do hit that magical number, I plan on compiling them into my third chapbook. This one will be a little longer…twice as long…than my other two books. I am very excited.
