it’s all an illusion

we’re the attendee and the host

to be human is to be a storyteller

both the main character

and the one who observes

to experience is to feel

no matter how deep

no matter how much it hurts

because pain is suffering

or whatever the Dalai Llama said

“beauty is pain darling”

as you scorch the hairs from your head

but pain isn’t negative

it’s there to show us where to go

in an existence where nerves keep

the boundary

to break through the glass ceiling you have to know

you’ll bleed for the narrative

you’ll bleed for the cause

you’ll bleed for the success

and you’ll bleed for the applause

we are storytellers

it all goes away after it begins

our only goal is to fill the pages

with excitement from the Title to The End
